Reservoirs

Huntington, Indiana is home to 2 of the 3 reservoirs on the northern end of the Wabash river drainage shed.   Huntington Reservoir was renamed to the J. Edward Roush reservoir to honor the Huntington, Indiana Congressman.  The Salamonie reservoir is larger than the Roush reservoir, and is only partially in Huntington County.  The balance of Salamonie reservoir and the actual dam are in Wabash County, Indiana.  Both have boat ramps, camping and nice walking trails.  Salamonie reservoir also has horse riding trails that are very nice.
